Tips & Faq’s

Tips for planning your visit:

Spring visits

  • Dress in layers. Our spring days can be chilly in the morning and warm in the afternoon.

  • Wear farm-worthy footwear. The fields take longer to dry out after spring rain.

  • Prepare for walking. The fields cover many acres.

  • Bring water and stay hydrated.

  • Pack a picnic.

  • We’re sorry, but no dogs are allowed in spring (dogs are permitted in summer).

Summer visits

  • Bring water and stay hydrated

  • Wear light-colored, loose-fitting clothing.

  • Wear a hat or bring an umbrella for shade in the field. We’re happy to loan you one of our “Sunbrellas.”

  • Wear comfortable “farm-worthy” shoes.

  • Prepare for walking. The fields cover a large area.

  • Wear sunscreen and bring bug spray (just in case).

  • Pack a picnic.

  • Dogs on a leash are permitted for summer.
