Picnic

The courtyard of our 100-year-old dairy barn is partially shaded and has many picnic tables. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a little downtime on the farm.

We encourage you to pack a picnic and spend extra time with us on the farm. If you don’t want to pack your own, we usually have food vendors outside the picnic area. Check the field report page for a current list of food vendors.

While we have plenty of picnic tables, we recommend bringing a blanket in case the tables become full.

On the weekends, we usually have live music in the picnic area.

 

Play

We offer a variety of activities in our activity area and on the farm suitable for almost any age.

NEW for 2025!

We’re excited for you to see our newest addition to the activity area! Our 4,400 square foot Tulip and Sunflower-themed playground is sure to inspire creativity and delight children of all ages, providing a vibrant, nature-inspired space for imaginative play and outdoor fun.

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Hop-on hop-off wagon rides in the fields

  • Giant Jump Pad

  • Small Jump Pad

  • Grain bin basketball

  • Cornhole games

  • Short film cinema in the barn

  • Kids’ playset

  • Various other games for children and adults

  • Antique tractors and a real life-size caboose

  • (Spring) 100’s of authentic Dutch wooden shoes on a stage to “klomp” around in

  • (Summer) Bubble Stations
